I selected Yubikey U2F as my protocol connection and it works great with my laptop but why does it not work with my Android tablet?

Please verify that the Yubikey being used supports both U2F and OTP (which is required for Android tablets).  You want to utilize OTP instead of U2FOTP if you will be using both laptops and tablets to connect to host systems.
